On 5 December 2013, notice was given in accordance with Section 35A (1) of the Mining Act 1971, that an application for an extractive minerals lease over the undermentioned mineral claim had been received. Since that notice was published an amended mining lease proposal / response document has been received in relation to this application. Further notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 35A (1) of the Mining Act 1971 in relation to this application.

Written submissions in relation to this application are invited.

Consider whether or not:

  • the proponent has adequately described the existing environment as far as this is relevant to the proposed operations
  • has adequately identified the potential impacts on the environment that may arise from the proposed operations
  • the proposed environmental outcomes are acceptable
  • the proposed mitigation measures are practical and are likely to achieve the desired outcomes
  • the proposed outcome measurement criteria are suitable to demonstrate achievement of the proposed outcomes.
