1. Creating a PEPR application

Step 1.1
Within the EPEPR home page click on 'Launch EPEPR application' to create a new application.

Step 1.2
Enter your Username and Password. If you do not have a user name or password, complete the EPEPR login application form and send it to DSD.exploration@sa.gov.au

You will be notified by email of your Username and Password. 

The link to the Secure log-in application form can be found in the EPEPR home page.

Step 1.3
In the My EPEPR forms page click on New application.

Select the PEPR approval period from the dropdown list.

2. Creating a program notification application

Step 2.1
Within the EPEPR home page, click on Launch EPEPR application to create a new application.

Step 2.2
You will be required to enter your username and password.

If you do not have a user name or password, complete the EPEPR login application form and send to DSD.exploration@sa.gov.au

An email will be sent to you with your username and password.

In the My EPEPR forms page click on New program notification.

Choose the ongoing PEPR application you would like to submit the program notification against.

Note: program notifications can only be submitted if you have submitted a PEPR for an ongoing period of time.

3. Navigation

When a new application is created the EPEPR landing page will appear. An EPEPR reference number will be assigned and appear at the top of the page. 

Where to find the reference number 

Under Application sections select one of the headings. Sections should be filled out in order from top to bottom.

When the section is completed a green tick will appear next to the section. A red cross indicates that the section is incomplete.

Use the breadcrumb to navigate between different sections of the form.

Clicking on the EPEPR Ref. No. will take you back to the EPEPR application home page. If you click on My Applications you will go back to the My EPEPR Forms page.

The breadcrumb will always show My Applications, EPEPR Ref. No. and the relevant PEPR section.

Press the Save button at the top of the page before moving to a different section in the form.

4. Submitting an application

Step 4.1
When all the sections of the form have been completed (all sections show a green tick next to them) use the Breadcrumb to navigate back to the EPEPR application landing page.

Click on the Validate button. You will be prompted that you are ready to submit the form.

Click on the Submit button.

When the form is successfully submitted a pop-up box will appear.

An email will also be sent to the email address provided in the Key contact section of the form confirming that the application has been submitted successfully. A PDF version of the application will be attached to the email.

5. My EPEPR Forms page 

This page is made up of 3 sections:

In general this page allows you to keep track of the forms created, submitted, approved and if additional information has been requested. 

My draft forms 

This section lists all the draft applications that have been saved, or submitted to DSD for assessment. Each of the columns in this section and their meanings are listed below:

  • PEPR number = PEPR Ref. No.
  • Approval period = The approval period for the application created (e.g. 12 month, ongoing or program notification)
  • Created date = date the application was created
  • Modified date = The last date the application was modified/saved
  • Status = Indicates if the application has been saved or initialised (application has been created but not saved)

Worklist

This section lists the applications where DSD have requested additional information. Each of the columns in this section and their meanings are listed below:

  • PEPR number = PEPR Ref. No.
  • Task = Action required to be complete by applicant
  • Task assigned date = Date the task was assigned to the applicant by the assessment officer
  • Action = Indicates that the form can be accessed by the applicant

My forms

This section contains the same columns as the My draft forms section, but the Status section indicates if the forms have been: 

  • submitted to DSD;
  • approved by DSD; or
  • withdrawn by the applicant.

6. Using a previously submitted PEPR to create a new application

Step 6.1
In the My EPEPR Forms page click on New application

Select the PEPR approval period from the dropdown list.

Select the EPEPR application you would like to use from the list provided.

Review and modify each section of the application where required and submit to DSD.

7. Resubmitting your application

Step 7.1
Once an application has been submitted to DSD the assessment officer may request the applicant to provide additional information. To access your application go to the Worklist section in the My EPEPR forms page and click on the arrow next to the relevant application.

Click on Open Form.

When the form is open you will view the application in the Workflow page. 

Within this page you can navigate to the sections of the form that require further information.

Step 4
Once the form is updated select Resubmit from the Select Action dropdown list.

Note that an application can only be resubmitted by the applicant when additional information has been requested by the assessment officer. Where an information request from the assessment officer has not been received the applicant will need to contact the Exploration Regulation Team so that an information request can be initiated.

8. Withdrawing an application

Step 8.1
Once an application has been submitted to DSD, the applicant can withdraw the PEPR.

To withdraw your application go to the Worklist section in the My EPEPR forms page and click on the arrow next to the relevant application.

Note that an application can be withdrawn by the applicant only when additional information has been requested by the assessment officer. Where an information request from the assessment officer has not been received the applicant will need to contact the Exploration Regulation Team to provide them with permission to withdraw the application.
